Car insurance companies continue to be bias towards who should repair your cars, telling customers to go to certain businesses to repair their vehicles without informing them that it is in fact their choice who does the repair.

Many people do not realise that when making a claim on their vehicle that it is their choice who does the repair. This has led to repairs which have not been to the best standard, where their vehicles have been handled in a conveyer belt fashion, and recalls have then been required.

This also has a negative effect on the car repair industry, with the insurer recommended companies getting most of the business. As insurers concentrate on who will do cheaper repairs for them, and not necessarily who would do the best job.
